The setting was great. Surrounded by greenery, very quiet with a nice view of the water. Lovely sunrises and very helpful host nearby. Spacious with fully equipped kitchen and washing machine. Everything was very clean and the beds were comfortable.

The house is so comfortable quiet and relaxing and having the worst tropical storm in years it felt safe and secure
It’s on the best part of the island close to a few shops and 2 bakeries and 3 brilliant onsens. However what makes it so great are the couple who own it who are so friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Despite the terrible weather we loved staying on Yakushima but so lucky to have found this house
