It is a beautiful traditional Japanese house with an inspiring garden and a private onsen. The property is large with 3000 sq. ft. The owner wants to protect the heritage, and our family is grateful to have the wonderful experience of staying in this property. We keep on praising this is the number one highlight of our trip, though Beppu, Yufuin and Oita have so many attractions to offer. The house is large, clean, well maintained, owner has put flowers in many spots inside, much more blossom in the garden, we have taken many photos of birds, there is a huge rock in the garden, with a presence of stability and calmness. The onsen is private, easy to drain and refill by natural hot onsen, a extremely high quality of the water, able to soothe our tiredness and good for skin, it is simply the best , and we have stayed in much more expensive onsen hotel in the same region. I highly recommend this property to couple, family and friends to stay in this fabulous house, it is close to town center and many tourist spots and is right next to Beppu park, with the convenience of private parking just in front of the house, and bus stops. Owner can speak functional English, we have good communication by writing messages. Thank you so much, Sakura family.

Amazing location and great, large house. We travelled with 2 young kids and we could've had another 6 people comfortably stay in the same house. The instructions from the staff were easy to follow. This accommodation was the best accommodation we stayed in on our 20 day trip. Wish we stayed here for more time.

It was amazing. I spent weeks travelling Japan before I arrived and this resort offered such an amazing retreat.

It's a love resort so it's quirky but it's oh so relaxing.
The bathtub on the balcony was just.... Just do wonderful.

Staff were very attentive and welcoming, with many speaking English. The facilities and rooms were very elegant, clean, and of high quality. Having your own onsen was brilliant for those who prefer privacy and felt like total luxury.
I booked the deluxe family room. It was clean and big enough for 3 of us (we opened all luggage and placed them on the floor throughout the stay). Location wise, it was so near to Don Quijote and many restaurants within walking distance. We even drove to Yufuin Village which is less than half an hour.
Stayed in room with private indoor and outdoor bath and enjoyed it very much. There is a public mud bath for ladies which was nice too. We ordered teppanyaki beef and lobster for dinner and it was exquisite. Breakfast set was also luxurious. The staff were extremely friendly and polite.
A luxury class hotel yet with affordable price tag. Unbeatable attentive services in all aspects. We woke up late and received a phone call to remind us. We are given a villa with 2 bedrooms and private onsen.
