Exceptional property, beautifully finished and very welcoming, feels like a home. It has everything you need for your stay, a very well catered kitchen, access to the garden, with a hot tub, lovely linen and towels, air-conditioning, everything works really well. But it's the atmosphere created here that gives this space something special, definitely designed by an architect as it feels, smells, and works extremely well.
The hosts are great at keeping in touch via WhatsApp, we are a British family, so this is very useful as our Italian is none!
It is 25 minutes from the airport and near Lake Maggiore, guests would need a car as it is not easily accessible via public transport. We were guests here in Summer 24.

Really nice and spacious house, airconditioning, two bathrooms, everything set up great for the toddler. Wonderful! Chiara was extremely friendly and helpful. The garden and terrace with nice view over the lake is beautiful! Great place for a family, short walk along the lake to a large playground with good coffee for the parents.

We traveled from the Netherlands to Italy and had a few stops here and there. This house was one of the best decisions we made.
Clean home, facilities were perfect, everything was thought of (including baby stuff), good internet, nice rooms, bathtub available, silent environment, close to the town, spacey etc. Very friendly owners as well, they were just the best.
Free advice: go to ristorante pizzeria Oasi for diner. Good and affordable with food from cute staff who speak English.

Our group of six had an amazing stay at Cascina Canée, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Tucked away by Lake Maggiore, this village retreat is a captivating blend of hospitality and cuisine.
From the start, Fabio and Giovanna, our gracious hosts, made us feel right at home.
The three bedrooms were cozy and well-appointed, each with its own en suite bathroom and private entrance.

There was a variety of possibilites for breakfast, starting with a lovely bowl of a variety of fruits. The location is nestled in Algera, a pretty village by Lago Maggiore. The owners Cicci and Fabio make you feel very welcome and provide a lovely home away from home.
welcoming, in the center of a charming village less than fifty meters from the lake, a lot of fantastic eateries for all tastes and budgets and an always smiling and available staff in an old townhouse.
The location was ideal. Less than 10 mins from the ferry terminal and part the peaceful village. Also less
than 10 mins walk to the supermarket. Also ideally located to walk to the castle.
The welcome by Christina was warm, helpful and friendly which we greatly appreciated.
Dense was also helpful and friendly. We liked our balcony with the vast roof top views, the castle and the lake.
We also enjoyed the excellent coffee at breakfast and being able to use the kitchen fridge.
fantastic location, on the outskirts of the village of Angera with a view on the vaste and the lake. Hosted by an amicable couple that like to create a welcoming vibe. really great diner served on demand for the guests, the owner likes to cook food Italian food!
Fabio and Giovanna’s boutique hotel in Angera is exceptional, being ideally located to explore Lake Maggiore with its authentic towns and villages and for venturing further afield to Lake Como, Lake Varese, Milan and the epic drive to Mottarone. The hotel has a romantic view towards Rocco Borromea castle and towards the lake while its rooms are excellently appointed. Our hosts were personable and engaging and no query was too much trouble.
