We rented 4 individual bungalows for our group of family & friends. They were rustic & lovely! Exactly what we wanted. Quiet and set away from the hotel but an easy walk to the restaurant/bar. We would definitely go back.

We were so appreciative that they allowed us to check in so late, we were cruising the ring roads and checked in at midnight. The cabin was warm, clean and ready for us. We loved it, 2 rooms were clean, bunk beds, and a loft, an amazing wrap around front porch which we loved, we had our coffee on the porch and watched the sun come up, it was everything. We really enjoyed it. You can park next to your cabin, and great clean area.

The room had a lovely view of green pastures and mountains. The bathroom had a strange configuration but was workable and had excellent ventilation (important when enjoying hot showers in a cold climate). It was easy to walk to most places in the village.

The place is gorgeous and really in the middle of nowhere. Nice clean luxury apartments and probably a succes since they're building more. Would've loved to seen a bit more luxury around the place, but everything was still under construction.

Comfortable, beautiful en-suite room with very clean excellent functioning bath. Quiet rural setting but not far from village and main road. Despite large numbers from a bus tour staying the night, the evening was quiet and the restaurant dinner service and breakfast were well organized.

The cottages were from "the old days", before mass tourism came to Iceland. They were cute, very clean and tidy. No luxury bathroom. It was an "Iceland as it used to be"-feeling. Since we had an appointment at Jökullsarlon in the morning we had to leave very early so we couldn´t consume breakfeast. The staff was so friendly, arranged some food for to go with bags.. Really great!

The location is great and we really loved the nearby village with nice restaurants. Also, the breakfast itself was fine for us and you can park directly next to your tiny house.

Brilliant location to stay if you want to explore the south and south-east side of Iceland. Very friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, great breakfast! Also, a really good place to see the northern lights as it's located in a small village with not too much light pollution.

Hotel strives to be luxurious, but falls short on the promise. I like to support independent family run hotels. COVID HAS BEEN CHALLENGING TO THE SMALL INDEPENDENT HOTELS. The beautiful scenery and the architectural building structure are promising. Staffs were amazing.

Great cottages, quite luxurious for us as a group of students. The location was fantastic, felt very serene. Do make sure to check out the Moss Canyon located about 2km from the cottages.
