When we arrived, the door of the appartment was unlocked and the keys were inside. The house was very clean and quite luxurious. As two friends, one slept on the bed and the other on the sleep couch. Both slept great, good matrasses and when waking up, a solid beautiful view over the bay.

Comfortable and spacious room. This is a great location to stay particularly if the Northern Lights are showing as it is only a few minutes drive and you are out of the village.

The bed was luxuriously comfortable, the shower was amazing and the kitchen was well equipped. And the room was well heat and noise insulated. Unfortunately the weather was bad that day so we weren't able to make the most of the location. The room also included a voucher for 2 drinks at the Valeria coffee house which is just down the road. The coffee house is exceptional as well and worth a visit. They get coffee direct from the farmer in Columbia and roast it themselves, best coffee I've ever had.

My favorite accommodation in Iceland during my past 36 times traveling in Iceland. It's too comfortable to let you prefer staying in the villa than going outside.

We loved the view of the house; you wake up in the morning and have an excellent coffee and breakfast at the villa or outside. the parking there is tremendous and specious, and the rooms were perfect. and over all, the kitchen was well equipped and everything the host tried to provide.

Guesthouse is located 3km from the village centre. We liked that apartment was big, with a nice view to the mountains. Children liked that Netflix was offered at the guesthouse.

Apartment No. 6 (top floor) – very well equipped, clean, bright, spacious, a great view (especially at sunset), a little balcony, a decent fridge with small freezer compartment – excellent, though I did need to clean the windows. A very helpful information sheet. Looks to be an attractive large village / small town.

Easy check-in with keybox. Pretty standard hotel room in a very good location, close to Kirkjufell. Good place for an evening walk along the harbour and cute village. Breakfast was good and staff friendly. We also had dinner in the Harbour Cafe (where breakfast is served) - it was OK but not great for the price you pay. We loved the soup but the lasagna was not great, cake for dessert was clearly defrosted.
