We had a very nice stay in Villa Riang, located in Mayong, between Mundunk and the costal area of Lovina.. a very good location when you want to avoid the crowd. Splendid view from the terrasse with a nice refreshing little pool. Good local food prepared by Ria. In the next morning, we could enjoy the cultural walk with her husband Putu in the area, to meet the farmers and know more about Bali's rituals & plants. A perfect place to stop for those who want an authentic Balinese experience.

Breakfast: was toast and Jam but we weren't worried as we had the full kitchen facilities we could have cooked ourselves or go to a nearby restaurant or have it ordered by Grab. Swimming Pool: was big enough could even accommodate a family of 5 -7 easily. bedrooms: the rooms are good in size and they are next of each other with separated entrance from the outside which makes it also suitable if you are 2 families. living room: is separated from the bedrooms and huge

Everything was perfect - so much so we extended our stay twice. The dogs in the villa are the friendliest and most well behaved I’ve ever met! The villa has everything you’d need, plus lots of natural light. It’s a good place for anyone who wants to rest and feel at home without needing to have lots of things to do.

Spotless clean villa with really big comfortable beds. Pool was large, just the right size. View was really pleasent in a super quiet area. Warung by the beach we liked a lot (maybe 15-20min walking). Ketut made good breakfast, the guardboy was nice and helpful, driver super cheerful, full of joy. Everybody genuinely fantastic people.

This is the best villa we have stayed in. The location was tranquil but close to the beach and a couple of restaurants. There is a cook to make meals and they will help you get items from the shop. The villa is exceptionally clean and well maintained, absolutely stunning. Very comfortable stay.

Breakfast for us was perfect, not big in quantity, but more than adequate and was delivered nicely and freshly made. We had personal butler serving the meal to a garden table, very private and beautiful

We booked an out of the way place on purpose. In amongst the rice fields, there were 4 other villas near by but all private enough. It was basically cheap but with a pool and beach front it was perfect for us. It had four big bedrooms, great air conditioning and roomy. We had no idea that the accommodation included a housekeeper/cook as part of the package - We were there 8 days and so were able to enjoy local food she prepared from scratch every day. Delicious. She would shop for us too. There were western options but we didn't try those. The temperature of the pool and sea were divine. We wanted a holiday to relax and chill. We visited the local town and market it was very traditional and not touristy. Sunsets were really good so accommodation facing west is very much worth it. In terms of taxi / transport, the cost to get from the airport and the back to Jimboran on the other side of the island was EXTREMLEY good value, with stops on the way as we wished. The guy co-ordinated a few drivers and the service was reliable in clean airconditioned vehicles. We saw a previous review saying that the driver was pricey. That may have related to just the trips to the local town. His drivers had to come from 25 minutes away to get there (and back) so probably had to cover extra for that. So no issues from us. He came one evening and explained all the trips we were interested in and the prices. After then he didn't bother us. I was surprised there were no itchy bitey things - We took our insect repellant home unused. There were some big ish ants, but they didn't cause any bother. A few geckos hung out at night and a couple of bats. But again zero issue. It was nice to see them.
