This was our favorite place we stayed during our trip to Bali and Lombok. We were planning to stay in more central Ubud but changed our minds and found this place. We were a bit hesitant because of the lack of reviews, but we were so glad we chose it over all the other options we'd seen. It's true that it's pretty far from the city center, but we enjoyed being in a more remote area. We found a jungle with ATV/walking paths right next door and it was so fun to explore. The staff also helped us book a kind and affordable driver on short notice so we could choose our own attractions to see around Bali. I had been nervous about hiring a driver, but it was fantastic. The staff also helped us with spa services and other requests. The house was stunning and seemed new; we wished we had more days to just hang around at home. This place played a major role in making our Bali memories so wonderful. If you shower in the open-air bathroom with the lights off at night, you can see the stars. We didn't have a problem with bugs, but there are little geckos (which I love), so be aware if you're afraid of them.

We stayed in the Sky Villa for 4 x days and were so impressed by our villa and were so comfortable, we didn't need to leave it for our entire stay! The villa was spotlessly clean (no stains or dirt on the white furniture and cushions which surprised us!) and the villa was spacious and very comfortable. The view was amazing and large infinity pool overlooking the ocean was also spotlessly clean and private. The staff were very friendly and adept and the food was especially good and healthy. A big shout out also to the masseuse who was amazing in giving me massages every day. It was the perfect place to get away from everyone and just relax in a romantic villa! We thank the management and staff for making our stay so enjoyable and easy.

In this review, I have only clicked the smileys with the big smile. The villas have a set-up that lets you fully experience the enchantment of nature in Bali. The tasteful and well thought-out interior confirms this unique experience. Big compliments to the host, hostess and their team!
We really liked to be surrounded by the jungle. The villas were perfect for a short stay of 3-4 nights. The staff is really polite and is 24/7 available, which we find necessary when you sleep at a place which is not reachable by car. Also the villas are very clean and the staff is cleaning up your room even twice a day.
Food was very average and expensive. Staff were very intense at watching you but very slow table service. No comfortable seating in the villas. Hard to get taxi or gojek. Yoga had to be paid for which is silly seeing as how much you spend on accomodation. No hot water for two days. Wifi very bad.
The villa rooms are amazing, with an open living area, private pool, and spacious bathroom. Breakfast is not extensive, but fine. The location suited our needs perfectly, but if you want to be near the action, this is not the place for you.

The villas are located in the middle of nowhere surrounded by the most beautiful nature (rain forest, fruit plantations, volcano). The view from the luxurious villas and the infinity pool is incredible. The offered spa treatments are also really great and most of all the staff is just wonderful. Koming is the most wonderful and helpful person we‘ve met during our Bali journey. She took such good care of us and made our stay in Awan Biru villas even more special.
The private pool was amazing. The outdoor bathroom was wonderful. Very spacious bath. We spent three days relaxing. We ordered food from the restaurant on site and had it delivered to our room for every meal. There was a shuttle that they provided free of charge to go into town, but there are street vendors a short walk away for smokes and snacks. Everyone was friendly. Our room was made up daily without us having to ask. It was a relaxing honeymoon for us in the jungle surrounded by luscious greenery. Villas were nice and private.
