A relaxing holiday in a stunning setting. We had the Vassos villa which was perfect for two people with plenty of room and its own outside terrace as well as a private rooftop terrace to die for. Walking distance to taverna and mini market. There is even a fresh water spring 5 minutes walk away where you can refill your water bottles. Yes, the accommodation is a 20 minute drive from stunning beaches but we spent more time relaxing around the poolside reading and taking in the view. Finally, a mention about Jenny the owner. Such a friendly person and nothing was too much trouble. If you want somewhere to escape the crowds- book it!

Very tastefully designed in western style. Every detail of the apartment was carefully thought through It was very relaxing. I got quickly attached to this place. Even after 3 nights it was hard for me to leave. I loved contemplating the surroundings sitting on the terrace with a glass of wine or coffee depending on the time of the day. Host was very helpful and nice sharing details of local beautiful beaches. Highly recommended place. You will surely have a great rest here!

Excellent location for a quiet familly holiday. Well equipped house situated in middle of olive tree gardens. You must have a car to reach sand beaches (nearest is Elafonisi, 20-25 min drive). Nearest supermarket at 10 min drive and closest taverna at 10 min walk (Gialites). Great view of the sunset from the terrace and very kind host (Alex). Thank you for the hospitality:)

Very convenient accommodation is the Paleochora area. Easy access to the beach (1 min. walking), a few taverns nearby, just 6 min. from the town by car (easy road). Our house was spacious with all the essentials (nothing luxurious). The kitchen was big compared to other vacation apartments, and it has two bathrooms. Each house has a private swimming pool, the sunbeds were very comfy. The best: the access to a sandy, shallow and quiet beach, ideal for small kids.

It's an exceptional place , such an awesome location with a magnificent panorama of the mountains and the sea!! Our cottage was very cosy , comfortable and full of light.It's also very private,you practically don't see or hear the neighbours. Thanks to mosquito screens on the windows we could keep them wide open and there was a great air flow in the cottage , we didn't need aircon. Our kitchen was well equiped and the saucepans and pans are really good quality. We also loved the possibility of early morning hiking right from the doorstep on one of Chania trails to Azogires , the landscape is very special and powerful. The road to Paleochora is easy and Paleochora itself is a lovely place with lots of ambience and blue flag beaches great for swimming.Extra bonus for vegetarians - really good vegetarian restaurant ThirdEye. Special thanks to the owners for a very generous welcome fresh fruit bowl and to the super nice English maintenance woman. We spent there 10 days and definately could stay longer.
