It’s an exceptional place with great view and lovely hosts. There were 9 of us and there was plenty of space for everyone. The pool is a great extra, so is the gas bbq. The kitchen is fully equiped with everything you might need. Maria, the lady in charge, is super helpful. However, bear in mind, there are two rooms with own bathrooms, two rooms share a bathroom on one of the floors, and there is a big open space under the ceiling - with beds for 3-4 people, with one bathroom and no noise isolation from the kitchen and the living room. All in all, the 5 stars are well deserved, Cretan View Villa is a real gem.

The property looked exactly like the photos - beautifully restored house - high quality fixtures and fittings, lovely furniture, all the plates and utensils you need, lovely pool and a fantastic view of the sea and mountains. Kournas is a lovely village with some great tavernas and local shops, and the owner was lovely and extremely helpful. We loved our week there and would come back again. Crete is a fantastic place and the house was gorgeous.
