This is a real find. Built on the family land surrounded by wild flowers, vegetables, sheep, chickens, a horse and geese, it is a gem of a villa. Beautifully built, with gorgeous terrace and pool and furnished to a high standard, this is a great base of a greek holiday. The family want you to have a wonderful stay and nothing is too much trouble. They live next door and speak many languages. Surrounding area has good selection of eateries, bakery and a supermarket is short drive away en route to Argostoli. Car hire is recommended for location as buses few and far between.

It was a last minute booking, less than 10 minutes before arrival. For the waiting time to finish the rooms we was invited to drinks to a wonderful beach bar. House and garden are very beautiful. The owner Maria is a very very nice and helpful person.

Very good floor layout, two bathrooms one for each bedroom and an extra toilet next to the kitchen. A big living room with a fully equipped kitchen. The manager of the property was amazing, answering all our questions and meeting all our needs. Thank you! Also the owner was very nice leaving a watermelon for us, I think it was home grown. Thank you so much.

The whole place was amazing, the photos didn't do it justice. The hosts were so helpful, taking us to collect our hire car, making a cake for a birthday. Amazing facilities, great pool and hottub.

We couldn't have asked for anything better. Maria was waiting to welcome us on arrival with a delicious home made meal. The villa itself was absolutely stunning, outfitted to a high standard and decorated with many wonderful artworks created by Dennis himself. The location was perfect, just a couple of minutes walk from the beach, with at least four excellent tavernas (our favourite was Stamna) and two mini-markets within reasonable walking distance. Driftwood villa is set in a very large private garden with many fruit trees and other interesting shrubs as well as an excellent swimming pool. With so many interesting and thoughtful touches wherever you look around the property, seating areas too numerous to count, but all welcomed while trying to either chase or to hide from the sun. Everything surpassed our expectations! Thank you Maria and Dennis for a wonderful relaxing stay xx

Despina is lovely and friendly, she gave us many infos on places to visit and top picks regarding beaches and restaurants…very appreciated Situated in a small village, all the nice beaches are between 10 to 15 minutes drive (also less) To argostoli is just a straight drive. Bakery is 3 minutes away and big market 10 minutes. Very quiet area with no traffic, but still easy to reach all the spots.
