A lot of places we go to vacation feel like they are made to fit the purpose - they have everything you need, but nothing more. This place feels like home. It feels very well thought out and like someone actually used it and adapted it for maximum convenience and relaxation. This place has everything you can think of and then some. And you can tell why. The owners are great people, they provide you with whatever you need and make sure you have a good time, but otherwise get out of your way. They sent us all their favorite local stores and tavernas and the ones we tried were great! But the best thing about this house is its location. It's just stunning. The view and the beach are just breathtaking. The house is relatively secluded and quiet and we frequently had the beach for ourselves (at least in september). Across the beach is an island which you can visit with the kayak that's available at the house. There's a clear view of mount Athos right from the house. The yard is also well thought out. There are sunbeds, swings, chairs, everything you need for a relaxing afternoon. There's nothing I would add to this house. Perhaps maybe doors for the upper-most room, because you can hear the people in the living room in the morning, but that's not a huge issue. Other than that, we had probably the best time we ever had.

What an amazing find! Stunning location, right on the beach overlooking Mount Athos and Diaporos island. The beach is perfect, fairly private and right in front of the house. A couple of boat rental companies are a short walk away, very convenient if you wish to spend the day going around Diaporos island. The house is spotless, equipped with everything you might need. Bedrooms upstairs and living room and kitchen downstairs, a few terraces and outside areas made it perfect for sitting out, having a meal with a view of the sea. The owners live in the house next door, and were exceptional hosts - super helpful, kind, always trying to accommodate - felt like being around family.
