The cottage is very modern inside, great small court yard garden and a big field out front for dog walking. Neighbors were fantastic and engaging. Sited 5 mins from almost all of our needs ie supermarkets, dog park takeaway shops etc. shower and bath combo (great shower). Everything that you might need is there.

2 night stay for New Year. Lovely pub. We had a luxury king room which was exceptionally large with a view over the countryside and lovely and warm with a very comfortable bed having beautiful white bed linen together with white fluffy towels that were actually large enough to wrap around yourself (luxury) Food was exceptional with so much choice and that included the breakfast as well. Credit to all staff who worked hard and were very friendly. Plenty of car parking. Will definitely call again.

The pub in the village is exceptional. It’s a really lovely village with friendly locals, beds were really comfy, the property was easy to find. There was an iron provided so that was nice. Sofas were comfy.

The location was lovely for views but is a small village with nothing to do, but great if you are walking or using it like a base as we did. The food was excellent way above average and all fresh or home made by the chef this included breakfast and dinner. Its obviously popular with the locals because it was busy every day. The views from the room and everywhere around are stunning.

Location was lovely, small village with panoramic views from our room (Derwent). The breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. We ate an evening meal there too, which was also very nice. The room was a good size, nicely furnished, had everything in it we needed and the bed was comfortable. Good fluffy towels and bathrobes were provided. The tea-tray supplies were re-stocked quickly on request.
