We all absolutely loved everything the property has to offer! The host really thought about everything, every detail was perfect. The shower was just amazing and the beds were very comfortable. We was staying for my younger brothers passing out parade in catterick and he loved the location so much he decided to propose to his partner in the beautiful surrounding areas! We all celebrated with a local take away from the fish and chips down the road and a bottle of wine from the shop next to it. We was all so blown away with how close everything was! My mother loved the place so much she has booked to stay again in November!

Location is perfect, tucked away but still right in the centre of town and all clean and tidy. Communication with the hosts was excellent and everything provided for a comfortable stay. There are books, board games and TV for a night in but we popped into the Turk's Head next door where the locals were very welcoming and dog friendly. If you're cycling in the area there's a massive utility room for secure storage.

Very pleasant and comfortable house. Spotless. Well equipped.
This is a lovely part of the world, great walks, villages, landscapes etc.
It would be 10 out of 10 with better managers.

This was our second stay at Weardale Cottage,.this time with our son's. The cottage is so well equipped and cozy and. Martin and Fiona are very helpful and quick to.communicate. We would definitely stay again.
Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.
The hosts Stuart and Kathryn were so welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area.
The room and en suite were very luxurious and comfortable with beautiful views over the garden.
The evening meal cooked by Kathryn was superb and the breakfast was one of the best I have ever been served.
This is the most delightful luxury b&b friendly hosts who know the area inside out and could not be more helpful and accommodating in every way providing top class food
This is a lovely dinky little cottage with a lovely garden to sit out in on an evening with a glass of wine. Good for walkers, lots of places with lovely walks. We also went up to Roman Fort and wall - very interesting. Dog friendly pub not in the village but only a couple of miles away if you have your pooch with you like we did.
Really cosy feel to the living room.
My hubby and I stayed overnight whilst house hunting.
Everything about it was perfect.
So relaxing and everything was of the best quality.
I have a bedding fetish, and always travel with my own bedding! (Sad but true).
The bedding at Westgate Manor was better than mine!
Our room was luxurious and lovely and cool.
Dinner was delicious.
The owners were fabulous.
Location was perfect.
I could go on and on…
I’d highly recommend this delightful hotel.
