It was very clean and the owner was very polite and friendly. The cottage is very clean and comfortable and the location is brilliant. Close to the castle and to the bars and shops short walk away. Would definitely go back.

Beautiful home, very clean throughout and had everything we could possibly need for our stay and more! Beds were very comfortable, rooms all smelt lovely, little chocolates on the bedside tables. Kids loved our little stay and the owner was lovely and couldn't be more helpful and kind. Even little sweetie bags for my girls. Would highly recommend and will stay again when visiting area.

We stayed here as an overnight stay before going to the theme park, the cottage was cosy and exactly what we needed after a long drive from Glasgow. The alpacas outside were great too ! Great value for money and would recommend as a good place to relax and unwind, very peaceful.

The location was idea for me, the house was spotless and very clean
Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.
A very well-appointed cottage with everything we needed for our weekend stay.
The bed was really comfortable and the cottage was beautifully decorated.
The views of the castle were amazing from the back garden and the house.
There were luxury toiletries at the cottage, which added a little bit extra to our stay, too.
Would definitely stay again if in the area.
Everything from start to finish was great, the communication from Susie, answering all our questions. Lovely and clean accommodation, with outside seating for breakfast in the morning. We spent the night there while going to the Uttoxeter Races. The train station was 10 minutes stroll from the B&B which itself was in a lovely village setting. Then 1 train stop to the racecourse nice clean train on time not overcrowded, all in all a fab stay.
We couldn't fault the accomodation. The house was quiet and beautiful with lots of attention to detail. Lots of choice for breakfast/ snacks and drinks The owners provided us with all the information we needed by phonecall and text. Would definitely stop again and recommend. Lovely village and accommodation.
What a fantastic Christmas my wife and I had staying at peakes retreat - Castle view, also having our dog was such a bonus- pity the ground was so sodden or we’d have walked miles around the local area, but overall 5 star +
Communication from Sarah was excellent throughout my entire stay. The cottage was spotlessly clean and exceptionally well appointed. Tutbury is a charming village, plenty of great options for food and drinks. Bonus points for for the local peacocks!
