Very stylish and luxurious. Huge bed was so comfortable. Perfect location as guests at a wedding at Tutbury Castle which we could see from the house! Gorgeous toiletries. Sarah the host was a fabulous communicator. Do not hesitate to book this. Worth paying the price for.

Lovely old building with lots of history in the heart of the town. Big and easily accessible car park. Nice pub with spacious layout and good atmosphere. Our room (#2) was comfortable with old beams, space and character. Had a lovely evening meal with friendly service and excellent foods and very reasonably priced wine. Excellent breakfast. Tutbury is a lovely small town with its ruined castle, beautiful church and nice pubs. We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stop .

Lovely big room with great bath, and you can move the TV to watch from the bathroom if necessary! Comfy bed and lots of hot water. I liked how the fridge, kettle, hairdryer etc., we’re all hidden in the cupboard. Free parking too.

The property is small but well equipped and ideal for a couple. Excellent location and although there is no parking with the property this was not a problem.

A lovely historic building which still felt 'old' but had modern comforts. Nice selection of beers. Very clean, and a decent bathroom Plenty of free parking. So much nicer than a corporate 'chain' budget hotel. I had a meeting at JCB the following day, and they wanted to know if it was suitable for corporate guests...I said it would be if they wanted to give visitors a 'historic English experience, but it had to be accepted that 'old' meant old.
