The holiday home features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a terrace with garden views. There is also a seating area and a fireplace.

The location was great for us. Trefor is a very peaceful quiet village with a shop. There is a pub too. The cottage itself was lovely. It looks small from the outside but it's deceptively spacious inside with 2 good size bedrooms, both with good size en suite facilities. It was all very tastefully decorated and it had all the items you need for your stay if you are self catering as we were. We also like the seats and little table at the front where you can sit and look at the mountains while listening to the stream that runs right in front of the cottage.

We had a really lovely stay here. The location is excellent, so much to do and see near by. Jackie and Hans are very warm and welcoming. House is clean and tidy and had everything we needed. We would happily stay again.

Pen Llyn Quarryman's Cottage is located in the coastal village of Trefor, between Pwllheli and Caernarfon and close to the edge of Snowdonia National Park. The foot of Mount Snowdon is a 30-minute drive away.

Really clean and cosy old quarryman’s cottage set in the middle of the village yet only a 10 minute walk from the beautiful harbour/beach. Spoilt for choice for beautiful coastal and cliff walks right on the doorstep. We actually cancelled our touring plans one day just to stay local and we’re so glad we did. Trefor really is a lovely little area that I suspect gets overlooked as folk whiz past on their way to Abersoch etc. But this is its beauty. it’s quiet! quiet and peaceful. yet only a 35 minute drive to Aberdaron. We only stayed for 3 nights but wouldn’t hesitate to return for longer. Missing our nightly chairs on the beach watching the sunset already.! The owner (Brian) was great. Met us on arrival, explained all we needed to know and was available if needed by text/phone. Not needed because no problems. He did text to make sure all was ok. Which it was. This is an ideal location for touring Llyn peninsula but also Anglesey, snowdonia etc. conveniently located on the edge of all.

Lovely and well equipped cottage in a small and quiet village. Close to everything you need like such as a small supermarket, quiet beaches and dark skies for stargazing. Brian was super friendly, waited for us at the crossroads so we didn't get lost and gave us great insider tips. Parking can get a little tricky but with a small car there is always space.

This cottage has a lovely peaceful atmosphere, it felt like home. There wasn't a sound during the nights, on a summer weekend in the centre of the village! All clean and comfortable especially the beds.

Was overwhelmed at the location and style of the property. Set in such an idyllic village with beautiful scenery. Inside was to the highest standard with added little comforts and cannot wait to book again in the future.

The area around Trefor is beautiful with lovely places to walk. The village itself is very quiet. The house is very comfortable with lots of personal touches. After staying in hotels for a week it was so good to be able to make our own meals, catch up on the washing, and just relax in a home.

The hosts were increadibly friendly, helpful and flexible, with excellent communication. Lovely people. The village is friendly and not at all touristy, yet within a stones throw of amazing beaches, mountains and the attractions of North Wales. Great location.

Sweet old quarry worker's cottage, nicely modernised with all you need. Cosy woodburning stove, comfortable sleeping in two ensuite bedrooms. Very clean and tidy. Easy to access the coast path and there is quarry history at every turn in the village.

All the communication with Brian and Jane was very helpful and very friendly. The cottage was warm, cosy and comfortable. The village was interesting and everyone we passed was friendly. Our walks to the beach in moonlight and starlight were lovely. We enjoyed nearby Pwllheli and Abersoch and their coastal paths. We hope to return.

The principal virtue of this property is its location; - high above the village, stunning coastal views and the hills right behind the cottage. This point over-rides all of the foibles in 'what didn't you like?'
