Set in a beautiful village the host was very welcoming and attentive. Lovely spacious room, comfortable bed and nothing was too much trouble. This pet friendly accommodation has a large enclosed garden at the back and they even cooked a sausage for our fur baby's breakfast 😍

A small hotel/pub in a quiet village off the A66, this made a good stop for us on the way back from Scotland, but could easily be a base for a longer stay (they seem to specialise in fishing packages). The staff were friendly. Dinner and breakfast were good, with a good range of choice (will cook a fish if you catch one). The room was cosy and comfortable.
