It's a very cosy cottage. All clean and there is everything for cooking. The location is superb: a lovely view of the mountains and waterfalls from the window, a high street with shops within walking distance, and main landmarks are a 30-40min drive. We all enjoyed this little quiet cottage as our holiday space.

And what I loved the most heated Floor...I miss that already. This is a small house you can stay for a long time...

Little village is beautiful. Location perfect. Lounge is very spacious. Beds very comfortable. Everything provided in the kitchen. The Grapes is also owned by proprietors of cottage, so we had booked the restaurant far in advance for a romantic meal, but sadly we had to sit in the pub area as the restaurant area was booked for a function, so didn’t turn out as romantic as it was supposed to, but the restaurant looked lovely and the food we had was great, so worth a visit.

Location is OK if you like isolated places, nothing to complain about, it's a matter of choice. What attracted me to the offer is the mansion that looks like a castle, however, it is not adequately maintained to be a decent hotel.

Beautiful, quiet location with a safe area beyond the front gates where the little ones are kept well away from the road . The road to the property has little traffic, we walked with the little ones down the hill to a decent pub in the village at the bottom of the hill. The property is secure and there’s easily room for 3 or 4 normal sized cars. There’s also a pub up the hill The Bryn Arms we ate at both places and think the Grapes hotel down the hill was best .

Great location and a wonderfull old mansion. Very fast and convenient check-in and check-out. Plenty of space in the car park. The breakfast was quite good even though not much different bread to chose from. Wide assistent of jams and marmelades but limited when it came to cheeses and hams.

Staying at Plas Tan y Bwlch was fantastic. One night just wasn't enough! The rooms were such great value that I couldn't believe that we had arrived at the right place as the house and gardens are so beautiful! Nearby there are 2 places to eat in walking distance, but plenty more in nearby villages by car. Great place to stay for hiking trips to Snowdonia. About a 25 min drive from Snowdon car parks.

The location and gardens were wonderful. The views of Snowdonia from the terrace of this impressive mansion, originally seventeen century but greatly increased and enhanced by a a slate quarry owner in the Victorian era, are truly expansive and impressive. The staff were very friendly and efficient.
