We liked the peaceful location which was central to everything we needed. There are many nice restaurants and good shopping in Livingston. Places to visit less than an hour away include the Kelpies which are quite stunning. The property is minutes from the train station and bus routes. Quiet and comfortable with good wifi.

Spotlessly clean, bright and airy. Our stay was for four nights. After a long day travelling we arrived early evening. The cottage is part of a larger estate and the grounds are beautiful, we enjoyed an evening walk exploring. West Calder is just a 25-30 minute drive to Edinburgh. The rooms were lovely and clean, beds very comfy, plenty of extra towels etc. The welcome package of breakfast items and milk and juice was so thoughtful and very gratefully received! The three bathrooms were a bonus and worked well for our party. Cannot fault our stay and would definitely consider booking again only next time for longer!

The property was in a lovely rural location, that was nice and quiet, but within a short distance of Edinburgh which was great. Our host answered any questions we had quickly, and even provided photographs of how to access the property and where to park, which was exceedingly helpful. The accommodation was clean, well maintained and very comfortable, I would definitely recommend it to other and would stay again!
