We chose this apartment due to its situation between London and the coast, close to a train station, as we wanted to explore East Sussex, particularly the coastal towns and the Seven Sisters, but also wanted to have one or two days in London. Being situated a 5 min walk from Etchingam train station on the line from Hastings to London Charing Cross (75 mins travel time), it served this purpose exceedingly well. It is a very well-equipped large one-room apartment with eveything you could wish for on a holiday. The apartment is very clean, has a large kitchen/dining area, a nice bathroom with a modern shower system and a sleeping area with a large bed, a wardrobe and a sofa/futon. Some really nice local goodies, coffee and tea were provided, and there even is a dishwasher. There are some books for rainy days, and the TV that can be rotated between the bed and the sofa/futon on the other side. Last but not least, the very nice owners have put together some useful information about the area. Altogether, a very cosy and nice atmosphere - Highly recommended! Also highly recommended the Bistro at the Train station - they serve wonderful coffee, pastry and breakfast in the mornings, and Dinner (try their pizzas!) between Thursday and Saturday.

The Coach House is a beautiful place to stay with a lovely patio. It is very well equipped and all of the furniture is of a very good quality. The beds are wonderful! Mark is a very kind host and always helpful. The cottage is very clean and we felt really spoilt. We will definitely return to this lovely place!
