Cosy, comfortable, lovely views and well-located.
Mostly very clean, well-furnished with all necessary kitchen equipment.
Was worried about the fact that the campground toilet/shower block was directly outside the bedroom window, but actually there was no disturbance.

Everything is amazing! Sally and David are so lovely, and the animals are so friendly. The cottage house is nice and cozy, well maintained, and it’s so close to Scafell Pike car park, which is perfect for people who want to hike!

Loved being visited by Sooty and Sweep, two very friendly cats, and also a sheep at the kitchen window! Haha!..
Cosy, warm cottage. Very well equipped. Everything was very well thought out, including the drying and boot room. Great little place. Highly recommended. Very close to Wast Water.
Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.
Very welcoming host & a charming property in a little village quite close to Ravenglass Station. We could store our bikes overnight in the garage and it was an excellent location for Hadrian's cycleway. Breakfast was excellent!
Perfect location for us as we were climbing Scafell Pike the following day and it’s roughly 20 minutes away. Lovely little village. Room was small but had everything we needed and was comfortable. Staff were friendly and welcoming, good atmosphere in the pub. Superb Breakfast.
A gem in Cumbria, super friendly hostess, who couldnt do enough for you, I was travelling alone, I felt safe at all times. The location of the property is excellent, easy to find, nice car park, with a lovely greeting from Jo when I arrived after a long drive. Jo was able to give lots of advice of where to eat and where to go in my downtime. Just up the road ( 2miles) is a super little village Drigg with a fab beach which stretches for miles and is dog friendly.
We absolutely loved it! Great for a couples get away. We stayed for 3 nights and couldn’t have asked for a better place. 5 minute drive from local pubs and amazing walking routes. Also only 20 minutes from other villages nearby. For the price, this place is phenomenal. Lovely kitchen and living space, bedroom was nice, quiet and comfy, shower and bathroom were great. Thanks again for our lovey stay
