The location was excellent, house welcoming with great facilities. Bedrooms great size, lovely cosy living room. Already booked to stay again. Village had a great pub The White Swan - best to book, food excellent.

Smiths Cottage was comfortable, clean, peaceful, and had easy parking. The owners were very helpful and friendly, and their four-legged family an added bonus! I queried whether there was a microwave or not, before arrival, as different websites had different information on this. There wasnt, but they put one in for my stay. For people with limited mobility but not wheelchair users, there is one small step up into the cottage, which I found perfectly manageable with M.E/CFS. There is a short walk from the car parking area to the cottage, but on one level. Wifi was non-existent within the property during my stay, but I believe there would have been reception from the front of the house had I tried that. However the EE network and data was perfectly sufficient, and I managed to tether my iPad to my phone for those times when I wanted to check local online maps, opening times of places, etc. Nothing else mattered while on holiday. I would happily return.
