Our family really enjoyed the stay at Loudon Cottage in October. The property was very cosy, comfortable and clean. We found the surroundings of the cottage absolutely wonderful, full of autumnal colours, birds and red squirrels. We could easily enjoy our holidays without even leaving the place. The photos cannot give justice to this place.

Fantastic well equipped house. Very spacious and comfortable. Very clean and had every appliance you could ask for. As a bonus there was a wee welcome pack on arrival Very spacious garden and close enough to all amenities in the town. The property also accepts dogs which was a bonus for us. The owners obviously take pride in the place as you would not know dogs have stayed its so clean and fresh, so do not be put off by this if your not a dog owner.

I enjoy staying in traditional inns because you get a real sense of place and history, so this was right up my street. Friendly manager who kindly arranged a early breakfast for me, tasty food, a comfortable room and a fantastic location right on the loch. The village has a couple of points of interest and is the start of a well maintained walk around the top of the loch.

The location of the hotel is stunning with lovely views of Loch Fyne. The food was good with a large choice for breakfast. The room was a nice size with a balcony overlooking the Loch and the spa bath was a nice luxury.

Is the property a little dated? Perhaps but that’s kind of why we wanted to stay here. You don’t go to a small Scottish village inn for a modern hotel! The room was delightful, comfortable, and spacious. The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. The pub dinner and breakfast were tasty. Definitely would stay here again.

The hotel is set in a beautiful location, quiet and yet conveniently positioned close to a main road. The deor is tasteful and the place looks cared for. Our room, 2a, was spacious with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom had a separate shower cubicle and a great spa bath. A touch of luxury! All the food on offer was good plus there is a good choice of real ales.
