The house is beautifully furnished, deliciously comfortable and very well equipped. It was Christmas for our first stay and there were wreaths and a Christmas tree. Total peace and quiet. Much privacy. Luxury and care everywhere. An exquisite garden. Even little details like good quality stereo speakers everywhere. You will be very well cared for in every way.

Wern Ddu is absolutely beautiful, set in an idylic location. Ideal for a complete switch off. Check in procedure was easy. Everything was provided and spotless. Welcome pack was very informative. Visited waterfall country, not to be missed. Then home to the comfort of the log fire was bliss.

The welcoming, homely feel, the views and the location of the Cottage are excellent. As soon as you walk in, you feel as if you have entered your own house - its better actually as it is tidy! All facilities were spotlessly clean and quite new. Everything worked excellently and there was a huge pack of instructions. The local OS maps were most appreciated. Whilst we had not met the host, we were able to txt and always got very friendly and helpful responses. The downstairs toilet was very useful indeed. Everything was furnished very tastefully and the kitchen was comfortable. We arrived in a torrential downpour, but as soon as you closed the door behind you, you were cosy, warm and "at home". The basket with the welcome gifts and the blackboard message was a very nice personal touch. The beds are very comfy. Parking is fine, there is room for 2 cars after a steep ascent to the drive. Finally, the views are spectacular and if the weather clears, Brecon Beacon is visible in touching distance.

Cobblers Cottage is the most beautiful and cozy cottage we have ever used. The hostess Jo welcomed us with a lovely handwritten letter and a fresh homemade bread. The pub next door and its Host Ryan also gave us a friendly welcome right away. There is good food, tasty beer and friendly residents for a little chat. The setting is very very idyllic, peaceful, a small stream flows around the property, there is nice seating on the property and private parking. The house itself is super equipped, with two living rooms, a huge kitchen with all the equipment you could want, there are 3 toilets, two bathrooms, one with tub and shower! The bedrooms are very cozy and in the beds you have a restful sleep. The cleanliness was exceptional - so here you can just feel good and also spend a longer stay. We will definitely come back here!

The cottage is located in a small hamlet which is so peaceful. It is equipped with pretty much everything you would need for a stay away. The location meant that you were within 10-15 minutes of Brecon town centre & the surrounding hills. The standard of finish was exceptional & I would recommend it to anyone, also we’ll be certainly going back, as there’s plenty of walks to do in a wonderful part of the country. Josh & Jess were perfect hosts who made sure they were on hand to meet us on arrival.
