We had a WONDERFUL stay here for Easter weekend - so good in fact, that we've already booked again for next Easter. Brassington is a lovely village with two excellent pubs - Miners Arm do award winning pies, incredible homemade desserts + the best (and biggest!) sausage rolls you've ever seen. The Old Gate did us a wonderful roast dinner on the Sunday. Great walks right from the doorstep (literally, as the footpath starts from the back door!) Kitchen was very well equipped - even more so since our stay as I left my pasta bake dish there by mistake lol. Easy to collect the keys - and even better we got to check in 2hrs earlier than thought. Shower pressure in the 1st floor bathroom was amazing (I didn't try the 2nd floor shower). Really great value for money. Thank you for letting us stay.
