Beautiful old 16th century cottage with charm and character. Very relaxing with hot tub & sauna. Comfortable beds and sofa.Very well equipped kitchen and fabulous welcome basket of goodies. Lots of extras to make it special and a real home from home comfortable experience, e.g., coffee machine & pods, pizza oven, hair dryers, hot water bottles, fans, TV streaming service, and excellent WIFI. Had a wonderful stay at the owls hoot, a great couple of nights away with my girlfriend especially with having the hot tub and sauna to enjoy, there are other houses around you but it feels totally private as the garden isn't overlooked by the neighbours. Definitely recommend and would love to stay again especially as it's fairly local to me. Amazing little get away.

The location of the property is amazing very rural and great for a quiet secluded getaway. It has plenty of outside space that is exclusively yours for the stay, which includes woodland walkway basketball court (if your feeling energetic) outside sun deck veranda with seating and table for alfresco dining fully equipped kitchen the bed was spacious and very comfortable. VERY dog friendly with lots of off lead places to roam. all in all a very relaxing place, would be the ideal place for a wellness/meditation retreat.

Having two ensuite bathrooms was great. The cottage was very spacious. The location was great - both in itself and for our particular requirements - we were attending a wedding in Stowmarket and it was very convenient for this. The owner was very friendly and helpful when we needed assistance. We liked the non-intrusive approach, whilst it was reassuring to know they were on hand if the need arose - the ideal combination.
