Lovely small house in the town of San Vicente de la Soncierra. Two floors, so plenty of space for the two of us. Lots of dishes (also coffee and tea) and towels. Parking was available close to the house. Good firm mattresses. The beds were upstairs, so not for people with limited mobility.

La Casona del Boticario is a truly wonderful place in a charming little village in the Rioja wine region. The house manages to combine modern comfort with historic charm and attention to detail. Our room was very spacious, with a comfortable bed and stunning views over the surrounding landscape. The hostess was very friendly and attentive and served a good breakfast in the morning.
