We just returned from holiday in La Gomera. Casa Medina 2 was our home for several nights. This picturesque cottage is located high in the mountain forest, hence it is quiet location with cool and showery nights. The garden was full of blossoming flowers, trees with ripe fruit and friendly ginger cat. The cottage itself offers all the facilities that the description says. The host was always available and very friendly. From me personally I loved the well equipped kitchen, good water pressure in shower, bidet in WC, the WiFi strength, the cottage style and the setting/ the location - it was very nice to sleep in cool cottage after long hot days hiking or enjoying the beach. My partner appreciated the off road parking and the BBQ grill. My recommendation to future visitors would be - rent small car. It is a must. The rural mountain roads are narrow and full of turns. Do the full food and essential shopping while in San Sebastian. If you do not like cooking, that's OK, there is good restaurant few minutes away by car. It takes about 45 minutes to get from San Sebastian up the mountains to Casa Medina 2 - e.i. if you brave and keep to the speed limits!!! Plus add time to your travel because you will often stop and admire the scenery. I recommend this place to all whom love nature, hiking and rural peaceful living. Enjoy :).

Geoff is a very good communicator and he made sure we had everything we needed on our arrival. The kitchen and bathroom were fully equiped, the wifi was fast.
The garden is absolutely wonderful and a great place to relax, we enjoyed it a lot, it was the place where we have spend the evening.

Located in the magical far away village of Alojera, perfect for adventurers, hikers, and people looking for relaxation and quiet solitude. Wonderful terrace on the roof of the house (shared between both apartments of the house), offering views on the surrounding hillsides, the ocean and on clear days also the neighboring island of La Palma. Parking spot was assured, the neighbors are friendly and the host was kind and helpful, with plenty of practical advice and notes. There are two beaches (Alojera and Trigo), which are approx. 15 minutes walk downhill. Playa Alojera has a local restaurant (Prisma), where we ate the best fish ever - also a recommendation given by our friendly host.

The landlord and his wife are very friendly. When we arrived the landlady was there and warmly welcomed us. We booked the top room. There you have an wonderful view over the ocean. The room is big and nicely furnished and very clean. We had a fridge and cuttlery and where able to do our own breakfast.
Over some extra stairs you could reach the roof with some extra nice view over the ocean and the village.
The courtyard of the place is also very nice. You can hang out there as well and meet other travellers.
It was one of the best accommodations we ever had! It felt like being in paradise. So much privacy, we only heard the sound of the waves, the wind and the birds. The view was amazing! The house was even bigger than expected and equipped with everything you need.
Only a few minutes walk over a steep road to the village with nice restaurants and friendly people.

We spent a wonderful time in this traditional Canarian cottage which is located in a village in the north of the island. The house is very clean and perfectly equipped and the owners cared a lot about our comfort. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful view on the green mountains from the terrace and the silence around us. This place truley is a little paradise.
A car is recommended to get to the house and to have easy and quick access to the hiking trails and Garajonay national park.
The location is brilliant, Agulo is a beautiful village. The property itself is traditional and intimate, the apartments are spacious and incredibly clean with basic amenities. There is also a solarium and a fantastic breakfast. The hosts were so welcoming and had many recommendations. We had a wonderful and relaxing time and are very grateful for the stay.
Amazing quirky little place. It's nestled in a banana plantation, in a village, overlooking a huge sports field, which ticks plenty of boxes for interesting oddness! I came on my own, but I imagine it would be a lovely place to come work a partner, and if you had friends staying in the village you could host a lovely little gathering. Highly recommended.
Views from roof patio and shared garden are stunning. Lovely garden and pation had mix of sun with loungers and shade with tables to eat at. Quiet location in very small village in wonderful montain and coastal scenery suited us well and liked being in a more traditional dwelling.

La Gomera is very green in centre of island and great for walking, and getting away from coastal heat.
Lovely apartment in beautiful village. Sitting outside with a cup of coffee, opposite the banana plants, with the local people walking by and saying hello was really nice.
The hostess could not have been more helpful.
They also have a local restaurant called El Mantillo which was good and very reasonably priced.
