A lovely little cottage - set in a marvellous garden - in a quiet village. A great location away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. But close enough to get in easily to see the sights and have a meal. And well located for walks and day trips out to other parts of the island. The hosts are fab. There's some great tavernas within easy striking distance. And wonderful local wines to be sampled at the wineries (and monasteries) in the area. Including one right on the doorstep!

Pros:
• Quiet location: 25 minute walk from both new and old Paphos. Main supermarket is 1.2km away (15 min walk) & smaller mini-market for water is 6 min walk.
• Quiet complex: surrounding (approx 20) houses/apartments share one pool but are holiday lets/homes, so not always occupied, meaning the pool is very quiet. Enough free lounges for all.
• Private veranda only 5m from the pool, which is great. Has table and chairs. You can leave everything inside, and just swim; no need to prep a lunchbox or water, just pop inside to get everything fresh.
• Ceiling fans worked well
• Decor very nice throughout; modern with boutique beach vibes
• Coffee machine, ice maker, dishwasher, and washing machine all very good quality
• Lots of cooking equipment, utensils, plates, cups, glasses etc, but no oven trays. We bought baking foil roasting trays and same material cake tins which did the job as a lot cheaper
• Outdoor ceiling fan on veranda
• Very easy check in and checkout . Very quick responsive host via WhatsApp.
• Lots of friendly cats will come for a fuss; mainly a cat called Cyprus who used to live in the property. Will get on your lap for a cuddle in the evening.
• Front door only had a handle on the inside, so felt safe. We added our travel lock as we always do anyway
• Two bedrooms which is helpful for creating a walk in wardrobe vibe .

Lovely place, very clean and modern with a great kitchen and shower. Shared pool was easy to access and was clean and warm.

The apartment was in a great location, walking distance to the village square with shops, restaurants and pharmacy.
The pool was fantastic, and very quiet!
The apartment had all the amenities we needed, well equipped kitchen, nice bedding, Sky tv which was great for when the kids needed some time out of the sun and a wind down!
We had an amazing stay at Aphrodite Hills Resort. The villa had everything we needed, it was great to relax outside in the evening and have a BBQ whilst keeping an eye on the kids in the pool. The roof terrace was a massive bonus for having a drink under the stars and the air con inside the villa was superb in the midday heat!
The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, and the facilities on the resort were excellent.
Short walking distance to the village area. Bathtub and pool water-jets had really high pressure water. Most appliances are new, great AC's working on timer. Peaceful / quiet area next to the golf courts. Caring owner; full instructions on the villa operation.
Absolutely everything... better than expected...really good size pool and overall space ..inside and out...comfy beds..well stocked kitchen...and the pool!!! Wow...beautifully designed flowering bushes ...we were there for my daughters wedding..a few of the guests had bigger villas on the resort...all amazing...The resort and wedding facilities second to none!!!! AND ...very reasonable!!!
The villa and the view are stunning. Privacy is almost guaranteed on most areas. Villa is equipped with everything, I would only need an Espresso machine. Large, comfortable, stunning views, professional host, ultra quiet location especially when neighbouring villas are not inhabited. At this time of the year the price was also a bargain for the quality of the accommodation. Some may say that the villa shows its age but this does not crease any issue. Indoors areas, pool, jacuzzi all are in excellent condition.

Kouklia Coastal Retreat was a lovely little home from home, very well looked after, exceptionally clean and thoughtfully appointed. We loved the pool, and the village area - with sites to visit walking distance from the studio and great tavernas on the village square. Easy access to the rest of the Island from Kouklia was a bonus too. Brilliant value. The studio is ground floor and on the roadside but it was beautifully quiet, and there was access to the patio beside the pool with views out to sea.
