The house, the amenities, and the location were beautiful. Everything that you could need was provided. Washing machine, dryer, cleaning supplies, milk, eggs, bread and etc etc. The house contained board games and a playstation for the children to use, which was great. When I walked in I was in awe at what we had actually booked as the photos do not do it justice!HUGE HUGE house with 2 fantastically sized living area's with a stunning sun room to capture the morning sun. Large windows to catch the view of the bay. A fabulous little coffee shop 2 minutes walk away as well as a pub/bistro located directly across the road. We were very, very happy with this booking. It exceeded my expectations, and I wish we had spent our whole holiday there as opposed to the 3 nights we spent in Hobart, hahahaha.

Beautiful home, in a lovely quite spot, with plenty of things to go off and do that are close by. Amazing spot for a quite little family get away and Tess was lovely!

A lovely cosy cottage in a quiet area. The cottage is in a great location, an easy walk to restaurants and shops. It has the best of appliances in the fully equipped kitchen as well as clothes washing facilities. My favourite room was the spacious bathroom with the stain glassed windows.
Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.
We loved staying at Roosters Rest, our villa was spotless and the cheese/meat platter was delicious and a real surprise! Along with all other food, breakfast, juice, milk and bread. Very cozy.
The accommodation was great, the kitchen had everything you needed including a few essentials (oil, salt, pepper) for cooking and plastic plates which is so helpful when travelling with a toddler. The bath was a nice luxury, I loved the huge sliding glass windows and doors the opened to private court yard with bbq, very relaxing. It was a lovely place to stay!
Lovely welcome. Very good selection for breakfast. Lovely free range eggs form chickens outside the door. Great parking- we had a trailer and it was no problem. Quiet bush retreat feel. Everything one would need for a stay is provided. Really lovely mosaic bathroom floor.
It was such a lovely retreat, gorgeous place to stay, really cosy, my son loved the big living room and the safe surroundings to potter around. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone! And will stay again in the future. Gorgeous!
I really enjoyed staying here. It is a family run business, very homely, very Tasmanian, friendly and down to earth but with a touch of luxury about the lovely old house with the grand piano in the drawing room, drinks before dinner and excellent food. The rooms are quite unique in decor reminding me of an excentric old lady surrounded by her eclectic art works. The gardens are extensive and beautifully, a little wild, with peacocks, native hens and friendly dogs running around.
Very comfortable room with many nice touches.
