Cosy Retreat was the perfect place to stay. It was clean, homely and the owners had thought of everything, from lamps that were phone chargers, a high chair, great washer and dryer, high quality bedding, extra blankets for the couch, fantastic heating and cooling etc.
We honestly couldn’t fault the property and would definitely stay again if we were in Bendigo.
I have been staying here on and off this year for medical appointments and the location is close to Bendigo Hospital. The room is roomy and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The village of Eaglehawk is lovely to wander around and the gardens/park is beautiful to wander through.
The location was a big surprise to us, as a short walk around the corner is the historic Eaglehawk village with bakeries, coffee shops, IGA, Aldi and other take away restaurants along with a pub. To the right of the Village are two magnificent lakes to walk around. A huge plus.
A nice getaway for wine lovers
We had a gorgeous evening with a scrumptious meal. Everything was superb and our maître de made sure we had everything just right for us. We felt very spoiled.
I highly recommend staying in the suites. The bathroom was divine including so many luxury touches. Thank you so much for a memorable stay
