Holiday Inn Express & Suites - McAllen - Medical Center Area is situated in McAllen and features a fitness centre. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. The hotel features an outdoor swimming pool and free shuttle service. They were friendly, the room was very clean, it was convenient to the places I needed to go. I did not try the breakfast or the pool as I was too busy. I always need a fridge and microwave as I have to eat a special diet. Big roomy shower with good water pressure. Good AC. Close parking. The front desk looked up some local info I needed in about 5 seconds, just to be helpful.

Located 5 minutes’ walk from the Gulf of Mexico shores, this South Padre Island hotel boasts an outdoor pool. Each guest room is equipped with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and video games. The first room had a smell so I requested it and they changed it right away. I was very satisfied with the new room I received. The swimming pool was also pleasant.
