Beautiful architecture and decoration. Dinner and bar was exceptional and very well priced. Friendly and helpful staff. Great shower pressure and facilities. Japanese style room was beautiful and very comfortable futons.

They also booked a sake tour for me and took me to that location. The reception girl spoke excellent English. Overall a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Place is very clean, owner speaks English and is very helpful and considerate. The dormitory has 12 people capacity but it is not fully used on purpose, in order to keep the place comfortable for all guests. The Mt Fuji view from the shared space/garden is spectacular in the morning, on a clear day (see my pic). Hostel is located in a quite neighborhood a bit out of the tourist attractions, 15-20 minutes walk from the bridge. I stayed there for two nights and rented a bike for 2 days so I can ride back to the hostel. Would definitely stay again.

The design of the hotel is beautiful and intriguing, the room is classy, spacious with bright opnings on nature. The private onsen is a fabulous experience (after 14 years in Japan), the diner was very good, the breakfast in the room was delicious.

This is a typical Japanese hotel with big rooms, futons and veranda space to enjoy the view of the garden. Our host and his family were exceptionally nice and helpful. They tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible (even providing us with coffee in addition to the Japanese breakfast). The owner speaks English and took us by car to see Mt. Fuji from different view points. He was extremely nice and suggested restaurants and other amenities and he even drove us there in a few occasions when it was possible for him. We had a lovely stay and felt like we belonged there. The ryokan is a little old but that adds charm to it. Thanks to all the family for their kindness. If in the area, we would certainly visit this ryokan again.
