The owners and staff deserve real credit for how much attention to detail, creativity, love and perfection they have put into this place. 10/10 experience, we hope to come back!!!

Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout. Everything. Our room was spacious with beautiful views to the garden. It was our first time sleeping on futons and they were very comfortable. We were able to take a private family bath, which is amazing as I have a couple of tattoos and in some places I am not allowed to use the public baths. Also the traditional breakfast was delicious. Staff very nice and helpful.

JR Takayama Train Station is a 20-minute walk away and a free shuttle service is provided from the station. What a nice place. The staff was friendly, room was spacious and the food was great. We highly recommend staying here if you would like to try a Japanese ryokan as you get great value for money compared to other ryokans.
