Biggin Hall Hotel is a 3 star AA rated historic Grade II listed house of 17th Century origin with an AA awarded 1 rosette restaurant. It is set within 8 acres of grounds. The property is situated in the heart of the Peak District National Park, 1,000 feet above sea level, in peaceful open countryside. We travelled to Derbyshire to visit chatworth house and booked at the hotel very last minute. We was very impressed with how we were welcomed on our arrival by very helpful and friendly staff. Our room was spacious and we were provided with a free bottle of beer and Prosecco which was a nice surprise. We also didn’t expect to receive a free packed lunch to take with us even though we only stayed for one night.

Walks, turn left out the cottage and 50 yards away is a super dog walk plus lots of others behind the church. Cottage, lovely and warm and cosy, great cooker and everything you need. Location again👍 Very quiet as it is down an alleyway ( Foggs Entry). Will book again if we want to go back to Worksworth. P.S. Forgot to mention the Chippy, Chinese & Indian takeaways only 5 minutes away 🍴🍴

Picked this hotel for it's location within walking distance of a family party and free parking. Many of party guests staying at same hotel. The reception staff were friendly. The free access to hot drinks machine and cold water was excellent. Also well stocked bar. Good breakfast. Bed was comfy. It was an OK budget hotel at a good price.

The hotel was in a great location for visiting Sheffield City Centre, close to shops, pubs, restaurants and places to visit such as Christmas Markets which we wanted to see. Hotel is a budget hotel but its only what you need for 1 night if not going to be in it much
