The property is situated in the heart of the Peak District National Park, 1,000 feet above sea level, in peaceful open countryside. We travelled to Derbyshire to visit chatworth house and booked at the hotel very last minute. We was very impressed with how we were welcomed on our arrival by very helpful and friendly staff. Our room was spacious and we were provided with a free bottle of beer and Prosecco which was a nice surprise. We also didn’t expect to receive a free packed lunch to take with us even though we only stayed for one night.

Cutlers Cottage, a property with a garden, is set in Matlock, 34 km from Buxton Opera House, 38 km from Nottingham Castle, as well as 39 km from National Ice Centre. The 3-star holiday home is 33 km from Alton Towers. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Chatsworth House is 25 km away. Location, once you arrive on St John's Street look for the Church and it's almost opposite 😁. Walks, turn left out the cottage and 50 yards away is a super dog walk plus lots of others behind the church. Cottage, lovely and warm and cosy, great cooker and everything you need. Location again👍 Very quiet as it is down an alleyway ( Foggs Entry). Will book again if we want to go back to Worksworth. P.S. Forgot to mention the Chippy, Chinese & Indian takeaways only 5 minutes away 🍴🍴

An excellent, fully furnished cottage for one or two. Great walking trails in the vicinity. Only impediment was the difficulty to reach by public transport. Good taxi service at Buxton.
