Excellent location close to the town centre and the station. Room was clean and comfortable and a good price!
Great location along seafront, we traveled by train so only about 15 mins walk . Staff were lovely and welcoming, nothing to much trouble . We ate in the bar/ restaurant down stairs food was very good , tasty and good price . The room we stayed in was a good size and nice decor as was the bathroom, very impressive for the price paid , definitely stay again.
Superb hotel, can't believe only has 3 stars, definitely deserves more. Has great facilities and spotlessly clean in a great location. Staff were polite, professional, friendly and extremely accommodating. Great value for money and breakfast was lovely. I didn't take part in the activities offered but the guests that did seemed to really enjoy them. Can't recommend it enough, would absolutely stay again.
The host was lovely. We were looking for a city centre base for the weekend. This was very good value and a great location in easy walking distance to the town centre. The room was lovely- the host has included lots of additions, such as brochures, high-quality toiletries, even spare toothbrushes, that made it better than expected. Breakfast was also excellent. We visit annually and have stayed in a range of good places in the past. However, this will be our first choice next time.
Great communication from the owners, who also kindly extended our parking, very clean, great location for us (a nice ten minute walk along the river to the beach) and a really good price
Lovely house, our room was so comfortable and spacious! Full English breakfast cooked when we got to the breakfast room in the morning with plenty of coffee/tea and juice. Location is excellent, only 5 minutes walk to city centre which is full of pubs and charming old buildings.
Location very close to city centre and rail station The shower was good
A three star property in a 5 star location with 5 star staff. Lewis was absolutely brilliant, nothing was too much trouble and he's a real asset to the business . All the staff were lovely and friendly. The new owners now need to invest in the business and ensure the staff are well looked after.
The place is fine for what it is; it's a budget hotel, catering for primarily 'outward bound' parties. The location is great for any water related sport - right next to the harbour. The restaurant was closed - I assume due to covid.
