This historic Queenslander-style home with original timber floors and high ceilings offers air-conditioned accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Continental breakfast is served on the outdoor deck each morning. We arrived late but our hosts kindly waited and even offered us something to eat after our journey. Classique is a beautifully kept 19th century house with spacious bedrooms, high ceilings and very comfortable beds. There’s a reception room with a pool table and darts along with complimentary port and sherry. Breakfast was stunning. Tropical fruit, local jams, toast, poached eggs, fresh tea and coffee served on the back terrace in the glorious sunshine. Our heartfelt thanks to the owners who helped us no end, facilitating a trip to magnetic island and making our stay a memorable and wonderful experience. We hope to return!

Featuring a large patio with views of the gardens and bushland, Daggoombah Holiday Home Magnetic Island is surrounded by tropical gardens. The 2-bedroom house offers a large kitchen and BBQ facilities. The property is in an excellent location midway between horseshoe bay and picnic bay. It was extremely spacious and had everything needed from a fully kitted out kitchen to beach towels. Home from home.

Selina Magnetic Island showcases open-air building designs and communal spaces for guests. The accommodation is located in the heart of Horseshoe Bay, 4-minute walk from Horseshoe Bay beach, nearby many island activities and walking trails through the national park to beaches offering snorkelling. Loved Selina, loved the cafe / bar common area, loved the dorm lodges which had a toilet and shower. Comfiest and nicest hostel I've stayed at for a while! A nice treat, great location too with beautiful sunsets and food/ drink/ hike options from Horseshoe Bay, plus regular bus available from right outside the Hostel. Also did candlelight yoga and a morning yoga session which I loved - other activities available too like pool tournaments, games etc. Would recommend staying here!

Just 700 metres from central Charters Towers and across the road from beautiful Centenary Park, Charters Towers Motel offers an outdoor pool, barbecue area and free private covered parking. Beach House Motel is just a 3-minute drive from Townsville city centre and Townsville Casino. The tour desk can arrange diving, snorkelling and Great Barrier Reef trips. We loved the close distance to everything on the strand. The room was in great condition and clean.

The units in the hotel are equipped with a kettle. Every room includes a flat-screen TV, and certain units at Discovery Parks - Ayr have a balcony. We stayed in a superior cabin. It was spacious and the kitchen had everything you need. The bathroom had free toiletries, and the screened in porch was nice to sit out on bug free! The pool was nice and warm and we had it nearly to ourselves. Bed was comfortable and windows in every room provided great airflow; we never needed the AC. Staff was very responsive. When we mentioned a tree branch that was hitting our roof and making noise, she had someone cut it within a few minutes. BBQ and laundry provided, but we didn't use it. All the other guests were quiet. Would stay here again!

The surroundings were so pretty and full of birds. Communication was great from start to finish and we were greeted and helped to find our place. The cute sign personally welcoming us was such a nice touch! The kitchen area and bathroom had everything we could need and were very clean. WiFi worked well. The hosts were gracious to allow us to leave our things on the porch after checkout. Great location on beautiful Maggie’s island. We’d highly recommend this apartment.

You can play table tennis and darts at this 3-star holiday park, and the area is popular for fishing. Nice and quite property, the cabins were lovely. Spacious and comfortable. Perfect spot for those planning to dive the Yongala wreck as the dive shop is right next door.
