Posada de las Vinas is the epitome of exceptional. Gustavo and Alicia are warm and gracious hosts. The other staff are just as nice. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The atmosphere is tranquil and relaxed. The food and the wine... oh my God!! We shared New Year's Eve with Gustavo and Alicia, their family and friends, and the other guests. Dinner was three hours, featuring the Argentinian epitome of BBQ - the Asado, and excellent wine from the vines growing only a few meters away. Liz and I speak very little Spanish, but we really felt like part of the family - pool time, walking with the dogs through the vineyard, reading on the balcony. It's not fancy, but if you want good down-home comfort this is the place to be.

Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable Great pool to relax by! And the staff were incredibly nice. Tito gave us a lift to the bus stop :)

The staff was so nice and helpful, they are there 24/7 and really cared about answering our questions etc. The room was really big and comfortable with great closet space, big nice bathroom, comfortable bed... Everything perfect. The pool on the rooftop is a very nice plus with a lot of space to chill. The breakfast has a lot of options. All important spots in Salta (main square, Caseros, bus terminal and so on) can be reached in a few minutes on foot. All in all great value for money!

Super clean bedroom and ours had a cute arched ceiling plus other characterful decor which really gave it a homely feel. Location is perfect - right off the main square & not noisy at all. Breakfast wasn't huge but it definitely had a good enough selection to set us right before we headed off on some vineyard tours :-)
