Tullie Inn, hotel in Drymen

Situated next to Balloch Rail Station, Tullie Inn offers comfortable accommodation 1 mile from Alexandria town centre.

We stayed in a family room, which had two connecting bedrooms and an ensuite bathroom. The bathroom had been renovated and was large with a shower and bath. The mattresses were comfortable and there were smart TV's in both rooms. The rooms were fairly quiet (mid-week)considering they were above a pub and next to a train station. We had dinner in the restaurant, the food was pleasant and the staff were lovely.

Jane was very personable and welcoming. The home had plenty of space for our family. We enjoyed the view from the sunroom. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking. Location was within reasonable driving distance to Loch Lomond, Trossachs National Park, Ben A’an and other hikes, Stirling, Glasgow. It was a lovely place to work through our jet lag from the US, as well as a home-base for day-trips.
