I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hostel in Shanghai! First of all, a huge thank to QiuQiu, who was incredibly welcoming from the moment I arrived. She made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The location is super convenient, close to public transport, which made exploring the city a breeze. The entire place was clean, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The rest of the staff, especially May and Tao, were also amazing! May was always cheerful and offered fantastic recommendations for local spots, while Tao was incredibly helpful and attentive. Their genuine warmth and hospitality truly made me feel at home. If you're looking for a clean, convenient, and friendly place to stay in Shanghai, this hostel is the perfect choice! I can't wait to come back!

Location is great, one min walk to metro. Staffs were nice. The shared bathroom was really clean, there was a cleaning lady clean up the shower room right after a guest finished using it. It was impressed. Price was cheap, very affordable but with such nice facilities and service!

Its old building but the room has been renovated, the apartment is actually pretty small. We have group of 6 with big luggages and its hard for us to move around the apartment. Overall, the bed is so convenient as well. Jacky is a great host. He is so responsive and very helpful.

To say that this property and host are amazing is to say nothing! First about the property: located in the former French concession are on the street where there are so many places that local upper middle class values is priceless. All those cocktail bars, cafes, small restaurants, shop etc. leave you with a feeling of a vibrant and yet very peaceful and calm neighbourhood! The house itself is ON THE ROOF!!! I can't admire enough the views it offers to the Fuxing park and the city itself. Also when you just get there and see the moon for example and the area on the roof to walk around is almost like a soccer pitch, you understand the romanticism and freedom of your balcony for the next few days of stay!) The house inside has everything you need, just like on the pictures. THE HOST: omg, if you are travelling to China without the knowledge of language and without well set up payment infrastructure (like Weixin pay) Cattleya (the host) can be your hero! Like it was in my case when the taxi driver at the airport was trying 20 minutes to figure out the destination address but spoke no English, she was there to help. When WeChat blocked my account for the reason I fail to understand, she was there to help me unblock it, so that I'm still a human being in China! Whenever there was a question there was an answer and I am so grateful to her for helping me out during my first China visit! Please stay here people, it will do you good :)
