Set in Plzeň, near Cathedral of St. Bartholomew, Jiří Trnka Gallery and Museum of West Bohemia, Wellness Hotel Republika 24 Apartments is an apartment providing free WiFi. The accommodation features a spa bath. Parking is possible for extra charge at a location nearby. The apartment is really spacious, which we enjoyed. In theory you can fit 5 guests there. Literally on the main square, a lot of attractions a few minutes walking distance away and a view of the Cathedral of St. Bartholomew from a 4 windows. A restaurant and a club/bar without even leaving the building. A sauna, which is somewhat inconveniently located a floor above the shower, is still a very pleasant addition. Parking is offered in a parking house, which is considerably cheaper than A and B zones near the square.

The room was large with plenty of space in the wardrobe for your clothes. Although the building is old and the floor was a bit squeaky, we had a pleasant quiet sleep. The bathroom was clean with a blowdryer and the shower had good pressure. The breakfast was simple but nice (bread, sausages, eggs, cereal, pancakes, coffee, tea, etc).

It takes about 10 minutes by bus/tram to get to the old town and the train station, so not too bad. You get to see Plzen also outside the old town that way. The breakfast selection wasn't the widest, but still tasty and good coffee. There's also a gym and sauna, although we didn't get a chance to try them out. There are a couple of shops and restaurants just around the corner.
The location was great and the staff was super helpful. Instead of selling their parking lot they told us that there's free parking on weekends in specific areas. The breakfast was nice and sufficient. The apartment had a super spacious living room. The interior was of higher quality. We had built in sauna which is amazing!
Modern look, everything was brand new, clean and the design was very well thought out. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. However, the best part was the spa. It offered two saunas and lots of creative ways for cooling yourself down. The spa had a relaxing atmosphere and looked amazing. We ate at the restaurant which was unlike a typical hotel restaurant with more than 50 menu items. Prices were similar to those in an average restaurant in Prague and the food tasted great.

Very beautiful, spacious apartment and a great, big sauna. We really enjoyed the nice breakfast, the great location, right next to the cathedral and close to the historic center and very nice staff.

Stayed 3 nights at Orea Resort Horizont in the executive room with balcony. We also went for the half board. The staff at the reception were awesome, very helpful and friendly. The room was clean, cozy, with a beautiful view and nicely renovated. Due to covid, there was no daily cleaning, unless requested, but we did not need it. Wellness was alright. We enjoyed the sauna, steam room, and relaxation room. The staff there was nice too. As for the food, we were happy with breakfast, alright for a 4* hotel.
