The hotel itself is amazing. There is also a swimming pool in a cave which is very special. Breakfast was really nice. Rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Staff was there whenever you need and are more than happy to help 🙂 Location was ok. It's in Nar, very close to Nevsehir and quiet. There is a possibility to also dine at the hotel.

We had a great experience. The hotel was in a quiet location and made huge efforts to help us enjoy our time in the area, offering access to all kinds of tours and opportunities. Breakfast was excellent as so many guests have noted, and we really enjoyed the very inexpensive dinners you can order via a local restaurant, they arrived on time and were high quality. Several of the staff speak English. Although many people have mentioned the stairs and there are indeed many, for anyone able bodied it is not daunting (I'm in my 60s and not particularly fit, and my room was at the very top). The decor is strikingly tasteful and beautiful. It was fun to stay in a place with few other Europeans and offered a very local experience. The hotel is currently expanding which bears witness to their success. Although others noted that there is nothing to do in the immediate area, the small village of Nar is quite charming (if partly ruined) and this place is 20 minutes' drive from Goreme, but it is not really in the middle of nowhere. The peace and lack of crowds, even on a Turkish holiday week, were the best part. We did several tours including ballooning, and I cannot imagine what it's like staying in the middle of Goreme with minivans grinding past pretty much 24 hours a day. The owners were really nice as was the young Afghan man who was working at the hotel. This place also offers the opportunity to actually stay inside a cave, at half the price of similar establishments in Goreme.
