The location of the hotel is quite unusual, but we easily found it by following the road signs. While at the hotel, you only hear the sounds of nature, which is very calming and pleasant. You won’t be able to take a walk around the hotel, as the mountain roads are very steep, and walking in the forest is also not possible since there is no access. The hotel is beautiful, but the rooms are not very clean. The breakfast was modest, though that’s our opinion, as we are used to having a hearty breakfast in our family. There weren’t enough vegetables at breakfast.

Our family, including two children, had a delightful stay at Agrinho Suites & Spa in Gerês. The warm and professional welcome set the tone, with the manager personally showing us to our beautifully designed, modern villa. Although there was a slight musty smell, it quickly faded from notice. The rooms were well-equipped, though conditioner in the bathrooms would have been a nice touch. The kitchen had everything we needed.
The resort features two great pools—one heated indoor and one outdoor. Breakfast, with its stunning lake view, was a highlight. The staff were exceptionally professional and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable.
Overall, Agrinho Suites & Spa is a beautiful and peaceful resort, ideally located near hiking trails in the Gerês nature reserve. We highly recommend it for a relaxing family getaway.

Parking was definitely needed so a relief the hotel was able to provide. Excellent location for a weekend exploring the serra in complete solitude. Wonderful room , like a mini apartment , super friendly and helpful staff . Cannot fault it.

This was a perfect holiday location. The grounds are outstanding, including the pool & lawn area. You are staying in a 1000 year + location. Gardens are perfectly maintained. The property itself was excellent: three separate bedrooms & well equipped. Hugo was an excellent host. We received fresh bread every morning & glasses of cold port every evening. The location is just on the outskirts of Guimarães - about 20 minute walk. Lots of small cafes & restaurants close by. We found using Bolt was the easiest way to get around. We were really sad to leave = always a sign of a brilliant holiday location.

Amazing location and hotel, pet friendly and right in front of a park. staff were really welcoming, my dogs got a lot of pets from staff and other hotel guests. the food in the restaurant is amazing! the room was beautiful and comfortable. I received also some surprise champagne while i was having a massage. The massage was great too!

It was a really great time, the first day we had almost the hotel for us, the view is awesome, the smell of the nature, the sounds, it’s so relaxing. The breakfast is very good, many options, and tasty.
Everything! It is just perfect. The place is very beautiful, the pool, the spa, the lounge.... The room has everything you need to cook (and much more) and it is really clean. The cleanest room with a kitchen that I ever was. The lounge is very comfortable (TV, sofas, board games, pool table ...) and we had coffee capsules and some butter for breakfast. The bedroom is nice and the bed is so comfortable!! I loved everything, it will be one of the most known places to stay in this region for sure.

The accommodation is beautiful, really well inserted in the landscape. The location is amazing, isolated, being perfect to take some days off to relax with peace and serenity. The SPA is also good. The room is generous and the bed is comfortable. Good breakfast.
