Modern, tranquil, clean. The room came with a patio where you can chill with drinks and watch the river flow. The town is small and has nothing much to do. Can talk strolls near hotel. We paid for half board and the meals we had were good.
This hotel is 200 metres from Ponte de Nossa Senhora Da Guia and Lima River. It features a small spa area with massage services and a lush garden. Each room has a private balcony.

The room is clean and good size. The breakfast was delicious. The city is tiny, with few things to do around. But is a good place to stay for someone who wants to visit Santuario de Sao Bento and Geres National Park.
I visited the Sanctuary Nossa Sra da Abadia, for the Nossa Sra da Abadia Sanctuary is not so close. But is a good place to stay.
Located in the heart of Peneda-Gerês National Park, this hotel offers great views of the surrounding mountains. Adelaide Hotel also has an outdoor pool surrounded by lush greenery.

Nice hotel in centre of town. Spacious rooms and good staff.
What better way to unwind after a day’s sightseeing than relaxing in a health and wellness spa? Spa hotels focus on maximum relaxation for their guests, with luxury features like hot tubs, thermal pools and professional massage services. Some spa hotels use mineral-rich water pumped straight out of the ground, helping to maintain and restore good health.
The breakfast is excellent with a lot of options, including fresh orange juice and pancakes. Both swimming pools are great. The spa area is very quiet, we have enjoyed a nice time there as a family. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Arcos de Valdevez!
Very friendly and helpful staff, the hotel is exceptionally clean and the beds are so comfortable. We were a family of 4 and the rooms are well set up for accommodating young children. The rooms are cleaned daily and there is a lovely view and balcony to relax. The breakfast is a good choice and refreshed regularly through the morning sitting. We did the evening buffet one night and this was also nice and good value for money. The spa is a an added bonus with pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi!!
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Very helpful making sure we were comfortable with our decision since the weather wasn't great.
Our bungalow was perfect, just what we needed for some good rest and relaxation, with all the necessary amenities. Good wi-fi service.
Good breakfast with a couple different choices.
Definitely to return in the future
The hotel and the area it is located in is truly magnificient: The Minho region with it's many rivers and streams is lush and green all year round and this is the perfect base to start exploring from. The room was spacious and exceedingly comfortable, the staff were very attentive and the breakfast was plentiful. The only thing missing was some shaded parking, but it is free and readily available, so that is not a complaint.
- Ample free parking on the hotel grounds
- AC worked rather well after some help from the staff in reception, who, incidentally, were extremely helpful
- Large spacious bedroom and large balcony
- Ample offerings for breakfast
- No noise from the outside
- A solid selection of Portuguese and international TV channels
- An extremely large bed
