Amazing location. We were met at the carpark by Hamza who guided us to the riad. Delicious mint tea on arrival while he checked us in. Hamza gave us a map with all the important sites to see as well as places to eat. We were upgraded to rooms with bigger beds because my partner was a bit tall! The riad itself is incredible. The rooms are beautiful and the terrace is lovely. Breakfast every morning was excellent. Make sure you eat dinner here. We had a delicious meal. Lamb and prune Tajine a standout. The staff were kind enough to put a load of washing on for us for a very reasonable price. Riad Qamar is a calm oasis in a bustling city. 100% recommend.

From the moment we (myself, my wife, and our three adult children) arrived the Riad Rcif staff did everything to make our stay a delight. We were met by someone in the parking area outside the city walls who loaded our luggage into a cart and guided us through the labyrinth of passageways to the Riad. The doors opened to a virtual paradise. The rooms were large and comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great and we had two wonderful dinners in the Riad's dining room. The spa treatments were just what we needed after a long trip. We chatted with the Riad's friendly owner and learned about Fes and the work that was done to restore the Riad to perfect condition.

I can fully recommend the hotel/riad. It was absolutely clean and the service was great. I can also recommend the breakfast.

Everything was exceptional. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were fresh and wonderful. The optional dinners were better than the restaurants I found. There was a "hamman" (traditional bath and massage) available in the riad, which I especially enjoyed.

Tucked away on the edge of the medina in the quieter location of Ziat, this beautifully restored riad offers peace and an authentic Moroccan experience with a touch of luxury. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, comfortable and had nice touches like a hairdryer, fridge and kettle. The breakfast varied slightly on each day of our stay and was always prompt and delicious. The staff are very welcoming, attentive and helpful ensuring we had everything we needed at all times. The hammam was a great experience and highly recommended too.

The facilities were fabulous. The staff were so very friendly and helpful. The look and feel of the courtyard and dining area was amazing - very beautiful mosaic and stucco work on the archways and walls. The room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed, large wardrobe and well appointed bathroom. The dining for both breakfast and dinner was wonderful with authentic home cooked Moroccan meals that were delicious! We also enjoyed the traditional Hammam and the relaxing massage available at the property.

Breakfast on the rooftop terrace overlooking the old historic 9th century Medina of Fes was amazing! The rooms were designed in classic style, very spacious, with high wooden doors. The location in the heart of the old Medina within walking distance to shops, Hammam Mernissi where we treated ourselves to a relaxing massage and Bab Sahra Restaurant where we attended a cooking class on how to make Lemon Chicken Tagine. Aziz, the manager, was very kind and attentive and made sure we got what we wanted.

for a modest amount you stay in a historic arabic building at a large square near to one of the gates of the world-famous medina. Spectacular location! You don't have the classic luxury of a classic four star hotel, but you definitely get value for your money; it's a good three star quality; and it's charming; personnel is cool, breakfast is tasty, the spa (hammam plus thorough massage) is professional
