A warm welcome from Lilly . An easy and fast check in with details explained clearly. A.great spa, which has sauna steam whirlpool and swimming pool. All kept clean. Also a small gym on site . Lovely breakfast. With great choices . The selection of fresh fruit was nice. Great service in the restaurant by Dev.. His attentive customer care was noticed. And the chef Ella for making an amazing omelette at our request

Rooms are spacious, the bed and pillows were comfortable, the sofa near the window looked very stylish. The spa was great, really relaxing. The hot breakfast was good.

Our room was spacious and it was all so clean with lovely little touches. Paul was a wonderful host and couldn’t do any more for us at all, I briefly met Crystal who was really sweet and we were made to feel really at home during our stay and the hosts were very tentative to our allergies and dietary requirements for breakfast. Hot tub was also a great way to end the day and I would certainly recommend Thornleigh House to anyone thinking of staying.

It was great to use the pool, sauna etc to relax. Clean and looked after. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Clean room. Very quiet at night so slept well. Breakfast was great - fresh, hot, buffet style - decent! Pub next door too!

beautiful setting relaxed and lovely especially the staff on reception... the spa staff and the charming ( half italian) gentleman whom greeeted us at breakfast which was absolutely superb....everything 💯 was a ten out of ten. it's an older establishment but definitely not a tired property...itwas lovely to stay to enjoy the spa facilities and if the weather is kind as it was for us I would recommend a walk around the river nearby hopefully will be back 🙏 for another break soon.

Heritage room was lovely. Comfy bed. Had dinner at the pub - good food, staff friendly and helpful. Had Spa day too - massage was good, swimming pool not to busy, so really enjoyed it. Very good breakfast.

The hotel is on beautiful grounds in a gorgeous historic building. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped and I like the style of the interior. The spa is great too including sauna, steam room, hot tub, and pool. The breakfast was good with a large variety of food.

Staff at the venue are very helpful and the venue has an air of the impressive place it was. The room was a very good size and the bed was comfy. The bathroom was large and had everything you need. The spa had great opening times. There was a nice relaxing room with free tea. a very nice pool, steam and a sauna. On-site restaurant and pub are attached. Plenty of parking. Good range of breakfast options.
