Enjoy a quintessential Oxfordshire countryside experience, surrounded by fresh air and 30 acres of manicured gardens. Our hotel offers an array of amenities ensuring a comfortable stay, from a relaxing leisure club and spa to delicious dining options from our onsite restaurant, Napier's.

Everything was perfect. From the moment we have arrived, we had a very warm welcome from the staff. We came with the baby and in 2 or 3 occasions they prepared warm milk, no charge. Location, garden everything is perfect. Restaurant food is delicious. We had a short but great stay and would love to come again. We loved it.

After the hustle and bustle of a busy day, retreat back to our hotel, where the River Thames is just minutes away and our orchard, gardens and spa offer you the perfect place to unwind and relax.

Start your morning with a generous buffet breakfast, and enjoy all-day dining in Deacons Restaurant and cocktails in Deacons Bar, Terrace and Lounge. We have a wide variety of meeting rooms ideal for conferences, social gatherings, weddings and special events, and please remember to take a dip in our indoor heated pool during your stay.

The service at the hotel was impeccable, especially at breakfast the staff made sure we started the day with a big smile. The room was very quiet and had a view on the nice surroundings. We especially like the walking by the river Thames to get into the city center.

Location was superb, staff was incredibly friendly, especially Billy the concierge, who made us feel so welcome and comfortable, and the food at the restaurant was lovely.

A beautiful building in the centre of Oxford. The hotel itself oozes old British lucky which is perfectly fitting for the hotels history and Oxford in general. The room itself was spacious and the hotel bar / lounge was a wonderful place to relax with a classic cocktail. The breakfast was vast and the customer service was great.

I came for an anniversary trip with my partner. We came to relax and this hotel was a perfect place to escape London. We had massages, used the pool, and the sauna. The pool and sauna were fairly empty so we felt like we had it to ourselves.

Spacious room, good facilities and a comfortable atmosphere. Good price by Oxford standards. There’s a large garden at the back which would be very relaxing in the Summer and a decent breakfast area inside. As well as the immense wealth of attractions in the centre of town, the lovely riverside area of Port Meadow is fairly close by and well worth a visit.

Our room in C wing was amazing, everything we could have wanted. The bed was so comfortable and room spacious. Amazing shower and bath. Dressing gowns and slippers provided. Lovely little touches like bath salts, Ferrero rocher, nespresso machine. Was a little bit of luxury and we loved it. Food was lovely, we had a meal on the Sunday night and the choice was varied, drinks only extras. Breakfast was lovely, staff were exceptional. They also allowed us to had in our luggage early
