Room: good size, v comfortable bed, great pillows.
Breakfast: good choices, but for hotel of this level should really have freshly squeezed OJ or Grapefruit juice rather that packaged ones.
Dinner: loved the menu, and food was excellent. Staff knowledgeable and friendly.

Beautiful rooms and property. The spa was exceptional and quiet - very well maintained. The breakfast had loads of variety and the bar provided exceptional service. One of the best hotels I have stayed in. We were also double upgraded on arrival which was amazing! Plus complimentary newspapers in the morning and a turn down service at night made it very special

Me and my mom had an amazing time staying one night here! The staff have been so polite and welcoming to us, by showing us around and answering our questions. They also upgraded our classic room to a superior room for free and I really appreciated it! The room was simply gorgeous and it looked at the beautiful gardens. The swimming pool is warm and very relaxing, perfect for a swim at the end of the day. Breakfast was included as well and it was delicious! I really have no complaints, just positive things to say! Thank you so much again for making us feel so welcomed!

I thought this venue was great value for money. The room was large and spacious and the price included breakfast. Don’t get me wrong, the rooms are rustic in fitting with the older building. But because it was so spacious it didn’t impact anything. The staff were all delightful the moment we arrived till we left. The booking in process and bringing us a pot of tea was a lush touch! We had a fabulous stay and would definitely return.

It was easy to find, immaculate, well stocked and lovely to have milk, fresh bread and oj left for us. The information booklet was very informative. Easy to park, great to have Netflix, coffee, tea. 2 bedrooms. The shower was lovely and the apartment was very warm
What better way to unwind after a day’s sightseeing than relaxing in a health and wellness spa? Spa hotels focus on maximum relaxation for their guests, with luxury features like hot tubs, thermal pools and professional massage services. Some spa hotels use mineral-rich water pumped straight out of the ground, helping to maintain and restore good health.
Beautiful setting with walks within its grounds and lakes. The property is stunning with many of its original features. Excellent play area and open space for our 6 year old grandson to enjoy. Lovely breakfast with so many choices catering for everyone.
Very accommodating as we arrived late and left very early - breakfast was arranged for us even with a dietary and specially labelled which was really appreciated. Nice spacious room, plenty of parking and overall a very lovely setting, sad we didn’t get to stay for longer!
The breakfast was excellent, you could choose from many options. We did not have the “30 minute breakfast slots” mentioned in the other reviews. We received a very friendly welcome, everything was fine. The rooms are large and spacious.
The hotel room was on the cosy side, however very clean and a the bed extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinners on both days of our stay. The food was of a high standard. The staff were very helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The private locked parking area was an unexpected bonus providing a safe place for our car, rather than being left in a public space.
The location of the Lighthouse was lovely. A quiet picturesque area with lots of greenery.
Staff were very friendly and happy to help.
The room was beautiful and the bed was a luxury. Spacious rooms and also a very nice breakfast. My daughter loved the Pancake maker.
The Foresters has a lovely friendly feel in a quant village location . The room decor is relaxed and spotlessly clean . The owners are very welcoming and provide a lovely cooked breakfast in a relaxed space .
