The hotel was perfect. The room was very clean and the staff were exceptional. Access to the health club (pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steamer), separate to the spa, was included in our stay and it was amazing after a long walk in the Lake District. The food in the restaurant was also very good.

The food was exceptional.Evening meal in Dolly blue bar of fish chips peas and fantastic homemade tartare sauce and breakfast in the hotel restaurant.The most beautiful views.And Greg the barman in Dolly blue bar could not be more pleasant and helpful . Beautiful old building

The host came to say hello and ask if we needed anything. Was happy to help offering suggestions of things to do and see. On arrival there was milk and tea and coffee, after a long drive this is critical, oh and loo roll too whish was also provided.

Spa hotels focus on maximum relaxation for their guests, with luxury features like hot tubs, thermal pools and professional massage services. Some spa hotels use mineral-rich water pumped straight out of the ground, helping to maintain and restore good health.
An excellent b&b in a beautiful peaceful setting. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. An extensive breakfast menu with well prepared food. Mel is an excellent hostess who makes you feel at home.
Great location for exploring Morecambe bay and south lake district.
Staying in one of the cottages at Longlands gave us the best of "both worlds", freedom and space to relax, make drinks and breakfast etc, and able to have an evening meal at the hotel.

As always Tewitfield Marina is a peaceful, relaxing break with clean, comfortable, spacious accommodation. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The marina is very dog friendly and the dogs received a fabulous welcome pack.

Location was excellent for meeting up with old friends nearby and visiting familiar haunts. Self catering gave us the freedom and space to have a relaxing break.
Everything! Warm welcome, tea and cake in the guests lounge, spacious room with luxury tea, coffee, snacks, water and real milk. Toiletries, extra large bath sheets, towelling robes. Biggest bed ever and very comfortable. Extensive breakfast options, all very tasty.
The owners Jan and Steve were so lovely and helpful. The lodge was perfect with everything you needed, exceptionally clean and comfortable. It felt very homely and cozy. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners, they left treats and balloons to make our sons birthday extra special, we all thouroughly enjoyed our stay there, very relaxing with a short walk to the restaurant and spa. Fishing was good, the lakes are beautiful, a very relaxing mini break.
